Some of you remember hanging out on the corner with your friends
Now we sit at the warm computer, typing hours upon hours on end,
Maybe you used to go to the diner, or your house, or to Bleeker and 8th,
Times have changed and this is now the place we’re apt to congregate.
Mindsay bloggers, by definition, say about what’s on their mind.
We talk about mundane things like school, or kids or the time.
“Never discuss religion, sex or politics” is an axiom of the nonblogging past
But if that were so, how long would blogging last?
There are posts about life choices, or philosophical regurgitations,
Some are about love and hate and all types of chemical persuasions.
Some blogs are substantial in all manners, & some frivolously fun,
Some are intellectually, Nietzschian proud, and some are Harry and Lloyd dumb.
There are people who doubt the veracity of the camaraderie we have made,
“A Mirage”, “Fake”, “She’s Phony”, “Oh, that guy just wants to get laid”
Some of us have met best buds, lovers, partners, & soul mates.
They call it ridiculous or stupid. We call it a blessing. Or Fate.
Can you quickly name 3 people you’d trust with the worst you’d confess? –
Well, if you can, then you’ve achieved true blogging success.
