Yup. Rules suck. Don't we all wish we could run rampant and do whatever the heck we wanted? Well too bad...Because there are a few rules that you have to abide by. These rules are as follows:
1. Each person who is nominated may be nominated for two seperate categories ONLY. This is so that the same person is not nominated for every category because lets face it-nobody is that talented. Please think carefully about who you nominate because once a person is nominated and seconded for two categories, all subsequent nominations for that person will be deleted. This is pretty important so please make sure you understand.
2. In order for your nominee to be eligible to be voted on, your nomination will have to be SECONDED at least ONCE by someone other than yourself. This is so that Yearbook is not over-run with a million different nominees.
For instance:
Nomad nominates Chilly for biggest gamer geek, then Tootboy replies to the nomination, saying 'seconded' or something like it. If nobody seconds Nomad's nomination, then Chilly will not be available to vote on for that category
3. If you are offended by a nomination for any reason-crybaby!-simply leave a friendly message and Yearbook will delete your nomination from the list.
4. Please try to keep all replies either nominations or 'seconds'. Yearbook does not wish to sort through which responses are actually nominations and which are bloggers shootin' the breeze with each other.-Since several of you seem unable to control yourselves concerning this, Yearbook will post seperate entries for you to blather on.
5. In your nomination you must put the name of the person you are nominating as the subject. You must also link to your nominees' blog so that others can check out your nominee.
6. Please remember that the first round is not the voting round, simply the nominations round. So once the person you want to see nominated is nominated, you needn't say 'I third or fourth or fifth them'. That's what voting is for
The rules will be run until tomorrow to be sure that everyone has read and understands them. Then Yearbook will post the categories again. I apologize for any problems this change may have caused. You are welcome to leave any concerns or nice words...however any rudeness will be deleted. Thank you for your participation, compliance, et cetera.
